Revealed to the world for the first time on Ferrari.com in preparation for its official debut at the 2012 Geneva International Motor Show, the Ferrari F12berlinetta, finished in an attractive new Rosso Berlinetta three-layer colour, represents the very cutting-edge of mid-front-engined sports cars.

This is, in fact, the most powerful and high-performance Ferrari road car ever launched thanks to the incredibly efficient engine - in terms of mechanical, combustion and fluid-dynamics efficiency - which, together with advanced vehicle architecture, aerodynamics, components and electronic controls, guarantee unsurpassed driving involvement whatever the road or track.

Ferrari's traditional transaxle layout has been revolutionised to match the more extreme performance of the car. The wheelbase has been shortened and the engine, dashboard and seats have been lowered in the chassis, while the new layout of the rear suspension and gearbox enabled Ferrari's engineers to make the rear volume of the car smaller. The overall result is a very compact car with a lower centre of gravity that is further back in the chassis, and a level of aerodynamic efficiency that sets new standards.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato (2013) Red

Toyota Avalon (2013) Red

The car's engineering development was principally led by a passionate and dedicated group based at Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. Continuing a North American focused theme, the 2013 Avalon will be assembled at Toyota's facility in Georgetown, Ky. Hyundai Genesis Coupe (2013) Red

Hyundai Motor America introduced the significantly redesigned 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe in a North American debut at the 2012 Detroit North American International Auto Show. In keeping with impressive performance upgrades, Genesis Coupe now sports more aggressive coupe styling, complemented by improved interior materials and design. Both 4-cylinder and V6 engines benefit from significant technology enhancements, with the 3.8-liter V6 engine receiving sophisticated direct-injection technology and the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine upgrading to a more precise twin-scroll turbocharger and larger intercooler. Automatic transmissions for these two models now have 8-speeds, with paddle-shift SHIFTRONIC manual-shifting capability. Hyundai's proprietary telematics platform, Blue Link®, is now available, providing Hyundai Genesis Coupe owners with a variety of infotainment services to meet their individual connectivity needs.

Mansory Lamborghini Aventador (2012) Red

The series version of the Lamborghini Aventador already makes opulent use of the ultralight and high-strength material carbon fibre. And Mansory continues this use as the main element of its bodywork components. Every single element of the Mansory aerodynamic design is manufactured to perfect finish quality in the prepreg-autoclave process and fitted snugly into place on the vehicle.

The eye-catcher of the Lamborghini Aventador's newly designed front body is the striking apron with its optimised air inlets for improved ventilation of the front coolers. In combination with the new front lip and its proprietary daytime driving lights, Mansory not only achieves an aggressive look, but also generates additional downthrust. The front wings, as well as the bonnet, are removed and replaced with proprietary versions. The sides grow by 40 millimetres in width on the front axle and an impressive 50 millimetres on the rear axle. Newly designed side sill sets are also fitted. These steady the airflow between the axles and, thanks to built-in channels, direct additional cool air to the drive unit and the rear brake system. The diffuser integrated into the new rear apron stabilises the rear at high speed and, in connection with the enlarged rear wing, produces contact pressure at the rear axle. The body package is completed by exchanging the roof and engine-compartment covers with carbon-fibre elements.

But it is not only through attractive design that Mansory Lamborghini Aventador impresses. Thanks to an optimised engine-management system and a high-performance exhaust system, both engine power and acceleration are improved. Thanks to 754 PS / 555 kW at 8,300 rpm and 750 Nm at 6,000 rpm, the 12-cylinder accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in a breath-taking 2.8 seconds. The top speed of 355 km/h is also higher than with the basic vehicle.

As a perfect wheel-tyre combination, Mansory fits striking, ultralight forged rims with carbon-fibre inlays in the sizes 9.0 x 20 and 13.0 x 21 with tyres in the sizes VA 255/30 ZR20 and HA 345/25 ZR21.

Mansory Maserati GranTurismo (2010) Red

GranTurismo is once again proof of the fact that Mansory has excellent know-how when it comes to customising Italian premium sports cars. Besides, the star, Emily, Flying B, leaping race horse, Bugatti oval and Aston wings, Mansory products now also adorn sports cars with Neptune's trident.

In the first instance, the eye is drawn to the striking Mansory bodywork modifications: a newly designed front spoiler with discreet spoiler lip gives the front a significantly more sporty appearance, and the carbon fibre radiator grille highlights the famous Maserati trident in the centre of the grille. Additional air inlets and outlets enable the new light-construction bonnet to optimally regulate the temperature in the V8 engine compartment. The GranTurismo seems much closer to the tarmac thanks to the drawn-down deep door-sills. The carbon fibre spoiler lip at the back, the carbon inlay for the integrated exhaust pipes in the rear apron and a diffuser complete the sporty look. All add-on parts are made from carbon fibre and are manufactured by Mansory using autoclave prepreg processing.

Ensure extra focus to the sporty add-on parts, Mansory uses progressive sport suspension in the front and rear axles, which lower the vehicle's centre of gravity by around 30 millimetres. Contact to the tarmac is maintained by 255/30 R 20 front tyres and 305/30 R 21 tyres at the back. Mansory is the first manufacturer worldwide to market forged wheels exclusively for Maserati GranTurismo models. On request of the customer, these wheels are sprayed in the colour of the vehicle and decorated with black accents.

The Mansory Maserati GranTurismo and GranTurismo S also gain power under the bonnet, thanks to Mansory. A performance-optimised ECU, an air filter with increased air throughput and a sports exhaust system with two double-suction tail pipes enhance the performance of the V8 aggregates by 30 HP each (series: GT 405 HP / GTS 440 HP). At the same time, the torque is increased by around 40 Nm compared to the series models (GT 460 Nm at 4750 / GTS 490 Nm at 4750).

Lotus Evora (2010) Red

The first all-new Lotus since the iconic Lotus Elise made its debut in 1995, Lotus Evora enters the sports car market as currently the world's only mid-engined 2+2. Powered by a Lotus-tuned 3.5-litre V6 engine producing 280 PS, and weighing just 1350 kg, the Lotus Evora promises breathtaking performance. During preliminary testing around the famous Nürburgring, the Lotus chassis engineers report that it is extremely agile and great fun to drive - even when clad with the full development disguise that hid the beautiful lines from the prying motor-industry paparazzi.

In addition to its excellent performance and exemplary handling, the Lotus Evora offers a more refined ownership experience than Lotus's existing smaller four-cylinder models. Its elegantly styled cabin is elegantly trimmed and its equipment list includes contemporary features such as an advanced touch-screen multi-media system and electric power-fold door mirrors.

Because one of the roles of the Lotus Evora is to attract new customers to the Lotus brand, much attention has been paid to its ease of use. Wider, taller door apertures and narrower sills make getting in and out of the cabin a less athletic undertaking than it is in Lotus's smaller sports cars (the Elise, Exige, Europa and 2-Eleven), while the design of the cabin itself will accommodate two 99th percentile (6ft 5in tall) American males in the front seats.
